Samuel is a 7-year-old Spaniel mix who is looking for his person — someone mature who is seeking a devoted, loving companion. Has been around (kids 6 +) and behaved nicely. Maybe a "grammy, gramma situation would be nice.  He loves his walks and would be happiest with someone who is moderately active and enjoys having a furry sidekick by their side. Samuel is truly your shadow and wants to be your +1 for everything you do, whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or simply relaxing at home. And if there’s a car ride involved, even better — riding shotgun is one of his favorite things! With his soulful, loving eyes and gentle nature, Samuel has so much love to give and will make someone an incredibly loyal and wonderful companion.

🐾  Samuel's Story​

 

Samuel’s journey began in rural California, where a Good Samaritan witnessed two dogs being dumped from a vehicle that simply drove away. They immediately stepped in to make sure the dogs were safe and reached out to our rescue cohort for help. From there, Samuel made his way to our rescue and is now ready for the loving home he deserves. Recently, Samuel needed a dental procedure and had eight teeth removed, but he handled it like a champ and is now moving forward with a fresh start. After everything he has been through, Samuel’s loving eyes say it all — this sweet boy is ready to put his past behind him and spend his days being someone’s cherished companion.
