Available Dogs

Adoption Process

Our adoption process is as follows:

1. View our Available Dogs and complete our Application Form to apply for a specific dog. It is important that you read the dog's bio thoroughly and honestly assess the dog's needs with your situation. If a bio states specific requirements for a future home, please be respectful of this need and refrain from applying if you do not meet those requirements; we take a great amount of time and due diligence to make these statements for our dogs and we are looking out for both the dogs & humans best interests. When we receive applications for dogs which clearly do not fit the requirements, we are now wasting our very limited and valuable volunteer time to review and respond to those applications.

2. Meet and greet with the dog. Discuss vetting.

IMPORTANT: All meet and greets must be in person in Langley BC. In special circumstances, alternate arrangements can be made upon inquiry.

3. Sleepover period (can be from a week to several depending on the dog). Our goal is to make sure this is just the right match for many years to come. Sleepover Agreement signed. During this time you are also able to have your personal vet do an exam.

4. Adoption Agreement signed and Adoption Fee paid. You will receive a free month of insurance through Trupanion. All vet paperwork is sent via an adoption package sent in the mail.
