**** Timid at first and will be best as an addition to a home with another small dog her size. She loves to play with her current foster brother.

Hard to believe that this adorable tricolour itsy bitty gal was found roaming in field in a small rural town in Wasco California (see picture).  Captured by one of our awesome rescue partners, she went into foster and was nurtured until arriving here with us int the beginning of August.  Timid in new situations, she comes around with her people fairly quickly and really enjoys her doggy foster mates who show her it's not such a scary world out there.  

 

She will need a patient home and another dog in the home to mentor her when she gets scared.  

 

Here's what foster mama says about her after a few weeks of observations.  

 

"This sweet lil gal is so pretty & dainty, crossing her front paws as a dainty girl but don’t get fooled by her pretty face & gestures. She can be stubborn but is easily taught.  Will need work on her walk. She sometimes gets mesmerized by others. She walks nicely if in familiar areas currently with another foster & he helps her lead. She is a great companion dog with any animal. Likes cats & to play with other dogs.  Ok with baths & brushing.  

Super sweet lovable, obedient doggy.  Anybody who adopts her would be so lucky."

SDRBC offers a sleepover period, usually 1-2 weeks, to make sure of a match. 

 

Muneca's adoption fee is $ 896.00. She is  spayed, had a blood panel done, (incl heartworm and tick borne disease testing-Negative) up to date on shots (da2pp & rabies) and microchipped.  She is currently located in Richmond, BC.
