Graham will need time to adjust so a patient adopter is a must. He'd like to be the only pet in the home and have someone who isn't gone for long periods of time during the day.  He has strong recall but also a high prey drive (watch out little squirrels).  He can be a barker for a short time when adopters leave the home. (With work this can be overcome).  He will also bark at sudden noises ( mail delivery and fireworks etc).  Up for a walk?....Graham will love to have his long hourly walk daily and to curl up next to you at home for a relaxing evening of Netflix and chill!  He is reactive to other dogs so someone who knows how best to keep him calm is a must.

🐾  Graham's Story​

​

He was brought from the UK 6 months ago at 7 yrs old when his owners moved to Canada.  It was a very hard adjustment for him.  Being a more anxious dog and then having a new baby arrive shortly after arriving it made it harder for him. Now that the child is mobile he has become much more anxious.  A healthy boy, his owners keep up on his medical needs and he'll be having a dental cleaning before he goes to his new home.

• Sleepover period up to 2 weeks (or longer to ensure a good match!)

Graham's adoption fee will be a donation of $ 300.00 to SDRBC
