Chi Chi - 3 yr old 20lb Shih Tzu mix spayed female

 

If "Sweet as Pie' was a picture....Chi Chi is it!!!

 

Found in a small town in rural California, she was so happy to be off the streets.  

 

She took a minute to come out of her shyness but there's no looking back now as she shows her silly playful personality every day a little bit more.  I'm sure it will be the same in her new home.  Chi Chi is not a fan of car rides and will salivate/throw up if just fed.  We give her medication if going on a long car ride.  This may change with short car rides until she feels comfortable.  Chi Chi loves playing with toys and chasing her ball.  With training she might even bring it back ;-).

While doing her vet check it was noted she had hypothyroidism and was put on a daily supplement costing approximately $20.00/mo. This will be for life. She will also need to have her bloodwork monitored twice yearly by a vet.  Her lifespan is estimated as normal.

Chi Chi's  adoption fee is $ 800.00 + PST and includes her spay, bloodwork, DA2PP and rabies shots, de-worming and microchip . All SDRBC dogs also receive a free month of Trupanion pet insurance.  We will also send her with a month of her meds. 

 

Chi Chi  is currently being fostered in Langley, BC.
