Zoey came to her current situation, living with her dog walker after her owner sadly passed away.  Zoey's best home will be quiet and calm as she can be anxious and become overstimulated easily.  

 

This high energy girl loves her 1-2 hour hikes 5 days a week with her caretaker/dog walker.  She is mostly off-leash trained (recall is about 90%). On leash walks she can be sensitive/reactive with dogs/people who come in too closely, too quickly but is not aggressive.      

 

She'd do best in a home with a yard and would love to hang in your lap on your downtime.  Happy to play with her toys, she'll fetch the ball as long as you want to throw it.

 

She is crate trained for sleeping and can also be crated (for short periods) when you're out if needed.  She is housetrained.

SDRBC offers a sleepover period, usually 1-2 weeks, to make sure of a match. 

 

Zoey's adoption fee is $ 856.00. It includes her geriatric blood panel and an extensive dental recently.  She is spayed and up to date on her da2PP and Rabies shots.  She is microchipped.  All SDRBC dogs get a free month of Trupanion insurance.  She is currently located in North Van, BC.
