Ruby - 1-1/2 yr old  15 lb Boston Terrier, spayed female

​

Ruby came to us after an improper home placement from another rescue. We were called in after her owners had tried to work through her issues around lack of human socialization with no success.

​

Ruby was brought to Karma Farm to live with our pack so that she could learn how to be a dog.  After 8 months we feel that she is ready to continue her training in her forever home.

 

Ruby is wonderful with other dogs, however will need help with her shyness of people. We are currently in training with a professional trainer...doing clicker work.  She's doing great.

Ruby would do best in a home with a person who has dog training experience....probably a female.

​

 

Ruby is adorable, has the funniest personality, loves chasing balls and snuggling with her pack members.

 

She will require a home with a fenced in yard.

​

Ruby will be the best dog if we can find someone to put the time, heart and training into her so that she can show her amazing Boston character.  

​

Due to the probability of Ruby needing multiple meet and greets we will need to prioritize applicants in the lower mainland. 

 

SDRBC allows a sleepover period. Our goal is to make sure everyone agrees on the match.

   

 

Ruby's adoption fee is $ 784.00  and will go towards her spay,  blood work including testing for heart worm and tick borne diseases (negative), DA2PP, Bordatella & Rabies shots, wormer, microchip.  All SDRBC dogs receive a free month of Trupanion pet insurance.
