Dewey - 1yr old 15 lb spaniel/chihuahua neutered male

These 2 adorable brothers arrived here from California in mid September after living in a foster home there for 6 mo's.  

​

They are a work in progress and I've struggled with separating them as they can play on each other's shyness.  In saying that they need a home with a more experienced adopter who can help them work on this.  Once they know you they will warm right up and show their characters.  A home without children will be best (older teens would probably work).  They can be a little bit reactive to my big dogs (mostly when the other dogs are playing) but have also been seen interacting in light play with them as well.  We've been out on walks and they are getting much more confident.  We've also taken them to the coffee shop and sat outside getting them used to all the sounds of the city in Fort Langley.  

 

SDRBC allows a sleepover period. Our goal is to make sure everyone agrees on the match.

Huey & Dewey's adoption fee together is $ 1000.00 (incl taxes) goes toward their vetting: vaccinations (da2pp & rabies), neuter, full panel bloodwork incl 4DX (testing for heart worm & tick borne diseases), microchips, worming and transport to BC. They will also each get an RC pets raincoat.    

 

All SDRBC dogs receive a free month of Trupanion pet insurance.
