Dee Dee 1.5 yr old 12 lb Parsons terrier mix female
This little girl had a tough entry into finding her way to Canada. She was hit by a car and left on the road injured. Someone posted her on Facebook and our contacts in the town went and got her to the vet. On exam it was noted she had a broken pelvis, a loose knee cap and a chipped tooth, mostly likely all caused by the hit from the car. 6 weeks of heeling and she came to us via the transport bus. A timid girl at first she came around in her foster home within 24 hours and is now extremely comfortable, showing her fun personality. Wanting to tear around the back yard, you'd never know her previous trauma.
She's learning her bathroom habits nicely and walks well on her harness.
SDRBC offers a sleepover period, usually 1-2 weeks, to make sure of a match.
Dee Dee's adoption fee is $ 856.00. She had a bloodwork done, was spayed, up to date on shots (da2pp & rabies), been dewormed and microchipped. All SDRBC dogs get a free month of Trupanion insurance. She is currently located in Surrey, BC.
