****6 FOOT FENCE - THIS GIRL CAN JUMP!

****RURAL HOME WITH A LARGE YARD  AND ANOTHER DOG PLAYMATE

9 month old 50lb Hound Shepherd mix spayed female.

This beautiful goofy girl is one our LARGEST small dogs here at SDRBC.

While I don't usually take in large dogs, she touched my heart when a friend pleaded with me to have a look as she was coming up for euthanisation due to overcrowding at the shelter and being timid and abit shut down with all the chaos there.  The shelter worker begged for someone to save her as he'd seen the silly and loving side of her.  We answered the call as we had a potential adopter for her.  Unfortunately that didn't work out when the adopter's other dog wanted nothing to do with a pup who didn't know her 50lb dance space.  So here she hangs, at Karma Farm with our other 9 dogs and she's done great! Playful is an understatement! She is the most agile girl I've seen in awhile. Super sweet with my teeny weeny's but loves a good wrestle with our 2 larger dogs. Car rides are a new thing and she's been doing well.  Walks well on leash and is attentive to her handler.  She'd make a great agility partner.  She can be a little anxious and barks if unsure but totally manageable.  With some direction this dog will be the envy of your friends.

If you're looking for an adventure partner- this is your girl!

SDRBC offers a sleepover period, usually 1-2 weeks, to make sure of a match.

Callie's adoption fee of $ 800.00 + pst includes her spay, bloodwork including 4DX test for heart worm and tick borne diseases , da2pp & rabies shots, microchip, worming and transport costs from California to BC.  She is currently fostered in Langley BC with 9 dogs of all sizes.

Please email smalldogrescuebc@gmail.com to see if she might be a good match.
