**** Family dog with kids over 7 yrs old

**** Huge puppy personality

 

 **** Was possibly hit by a car. Suffered trauma to his hip. Uses his injured leg as a peg. Original thought to amputate was turned down by vet because he uses it as a crutch and has no pain. 

​

**** Does not let his disability slow him down!

 

Chipper - 1 yr old 15lb, Dashund/Min Pin mix, neutered male

Chipper is a super sweet dog with a HUGE puppy personality. He loves to play and would benefit from having another playful dog in the home or someone who will spend lots of time playing with him.

 

He is a quick learner and is working on his housetraining.

 

He loves his people, adores cuddling and will whine when he wants attention and you are out of sight.

 

He has the cutest pounce onto his toys. He doesn’t give kisses with licks but rather will bop his nose into you.

 

He will need chew toys as there is a lot of puppy still in him. 

 

SDRBC allows a sleepover period. Our goal is to make sure everyone agrees on the match.

 

Chipper's adoption fee is $ 700.00 and will go towards his neuter, full blood panel including testing for heart worm and tick borne diseases (negative), DA2PP, Bordatella & Rabies shots, wormer, microchip and transport costs to BC from California.  All SDRBC dogs receive a free month of Trupanion pet insurance.
